Disneyland!
This year for Christmas I saved up and got Kim a trip to Disneyland. We got to spend a couple of days in the magic kingdom. Although it rained most of the time we were there, we still had a blast. Grandma and Grandpa Patten watched Wesley for us so we didn't have to worry about him. we were happy to see him again when we got to Grandma's house. This is Wes' first time meeting his cousins on the Patten side. We have a full house as Cory and his family are here as well as Christy and Jimmy. We'll update again soon. Merry Christmas!!

Hand and Foot Castings
Yesterday we took Wes up to Bountiful to have plaster casts made of a foot and a hand. We had these made for David, so it is nice to have some for Wes as well. He certainly didn't appreciate us holding his limbs in the cold liquid mold until it set up, but it was well worth it. They should be ready for us to pick up in a week or so.
Kim gives Wes a bath every night. This is something i think Wes really enjoys. Even when he's crying his eyes out, he immediately stops as soon as we put him in the water. He always balls up his fists and holds his arms against his chest. Super adorable.
And, just for fun...

Wesley is 3 months old! Actually he is 13 weeks today. He has been such a good baby. He usually sleeps 10 - 12 hours each night.
It is fun to be with him as he experiences so many things for the first time. He saw his first movie last week; Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows: Part 1. On Friday he went to his first Utah Jazz game. He watched them beat down the Lakers. He also got to meet Santa Claus this week for the first time. Santa reported that all he wants for Christmas is a dry diaper and a warm bottle. That is what Wes told Santa after he let out a loud burp while he was holding him.
We got the swing working this week and Wes loves to sit in it and chill out. It seems to calm him down. He also loves to lay on the bed, couch, or our laps and watch TV upside-down.
On Thanksgiving we ended up going to Carter's for the Black Friday sales and ended up getting around $750 worth of clothes for him for about $75. We got him all the clothes he should need for 3mo - 6mo and 6mo - 9mo. Kim was especially happy as we walked to the car with three giant bags of baby clothes.
